The humble leader, though in a place of power, doesn’t judge tasks based on merit because they see all responsibilities as crucial to the success of the business. Good leaders are always ready to assist office newbies when they are lost or confused.
Even the smallest of tasks isn’t beyond the good leader. They make coffee for everyone, help with the photocopies, and remain open for consultations. The good leader shows everyone that positions of power should not give anyone untouchability and instead gives them a broader perspective of what’s to be done in the office to keep everyone motivated.
2. Everyone is a friend.

The humble leader treats everyone as a friend and not just employees on a payroll. Co-workers see the leader as a wise ally in the office that provides insight and inspiration for everyone. A good leader doesn’t have favorites or enemies; they perceive and appreciate everyone equally.

An understanding and forgiving atmosphere in the workplace helps maintain good relationships and productivity. Short-tempered leaders that choose to ignore their co-workers’ pleas for help and understanding should expect a dwindling workforce because of a lack of motivation.
Humble leaders recognize that their co-workers have lives outside the office and that these lives affect their productivity and vice versa. Understanding that sometimes your co-workers need breaks and forgiveness for falling short because of their varied life circumstances makes you a good leader.
Humility is one of the most crucial qualities that leaders should have. As you climb the ranks at work, you should battle pride and remain humble. Leaders are appointed because of their exceptional abilities to take on responsibilities. But this doesn’t put you on a pedestal for you to abuse your power to refuse tasks and deflect accountability.
